I woke up the morning of my 25th Birthday before the sun with my little one,

exhausted after us being up between 7:20pm and a little after midnight with her

unable to sleep. We snuggled for a few minutes in my bed before she was fussing for

her morning bottle. I peeled myself out of bed and started our day. By 6:10am she had,

had her breakfast and we were sitting in her play area listening to Disney music while

playing with her toys. I then got us ready for breakfast while having her on my hip

packing bags, brushing my teeth and feeding the animals as she was balling every

time I put her down which was unusual for her, but has been happening recently. I

had breakfast with my Mom and sister, took her to visit my Gran and went back to

my parents to swim in the pool with her before ending our night at the drive in-

a little Mommy, daughter date to see the Lion King.

She fussed through most of it while I walked her around and swayed her back and forth

to settle her and put her to sleep, she fell asleep closer to the ending of the movie.

Packed us up and took her home, settled her in and went to bed. It was by far- the 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭

Birthday I’ve had to date. Getting to celebrate 25 as a Mom was a gift like no other,

and I wouldn’t have traded any part of the day, cranky, fussy or crying baby, for the

world. Being 25 and being a Mom is my greatest treasure. I am so honoured to get to

celebrate 25 with you my little Adi Rose. Thank you for all the love, laughter and joy

you’ve brought to my life.
