This is your reminder to show yourself some of the love you’re always sharing with others. Your body and mind deserve the same gentleness, kindness, understanding and love you don’t think twice to give someone else, especially in their time of need. It’s easy for the intoxicating feelings of loss and emptiness to overwhelm you and leave your mind drowning in noise and your body in chaos. & that is heavy enough on its own. In these times it is so crucially important to remember you deserve the same level of love from yourself that you give to others. You are worth the time. You are worth the energy. You are not too much. You are worth the effort. You are not a failure. You are not a problem. You are worth the love. And you’re absolutely worth fighting for. So, this is my reminder to you, to work on being kinder to yourself, your mind and body. Because you deserve it. & if this seems too hard to do or you’re unsure where to start. Maybe consider this as a practise until it can become a natural thing to do; Become ‘friends’ with yourself. Think of your emotions, your situation and your feelings as a friend coming to you. Express them out loud, write them down, however it creates this persona for you. Notice the ways you’d look to speak to yourself, & then the way you’d choose to speak, feel or treat a friend who tells you the same thing you’ve just expressed to yourself. Look at the difference between levels of understanding, kindness, gentleness and love you’d react to your “friend” in their situation versus you in that same exact one. You need you. & your body and mind deserve the unconditionally loving version of you that everyone else gets, too. Remember you are so worth it. & I am whole heartedly backing, and rooting for you. 🤍
