A few things I’m learning with the start of this new chapter:

• there is a lot to be learnt from trial & error • creating new habits & breaking old ones requires not just a matter of change, but consistency day in & day out • the bad moments don’t last forever. even when it really, really feels like they will. they won’t. be gentle with yourself through the the ebbs & flows & make it a point to celebrate the good • embrace something for what it is. allow yourself to feel & release: don’t hold onto anything longer than it’s meant for • change is both constant and inevitable. the longer you try to resist it, the harder your life becomes • there is acceptance that comes with having appreciation for what has been & being okay with, & having faith in, the unknown of what will be • you really, really don’t have to have it all figured out. the purpose of life is to learn, evolve & grow as you go. try not to be so hard on yourself for not having all the answers. no one does • who you are, your value & your worth are never & will never be determined by anyone else but you 🫶🏻 • you are the one who spends the most time with yourself. learning the practice of kindness, love & grace towards yourself is vital for a healthier headspace & happier life • your perception of the outside world, yourself and your experiences is all based around your awareness of self. look inward & work to heal what needs healing • life not looking the way you had imagined does not mean you’ve failed. sometimes you have to start over, & that is okay. sometimes life turning upside down is the redirection needed to set you on the right path. be forgiving with yourself & try to see this as an opportunity • there is peace in the pain. there is a lot of healing that comes with allowing yourself to find moments of peace in the chaos • the goal isn’t about finding happiness once living a life without ever having to experience sadness, grief or pain again. It’s about getting to a place where you know, even during times like these, you’ll be okay & find happiness despite it all • be authentically you. the right people will gravitate towards that 🤍
