We said YES to our Aunties Dresses!

We had the opportunity to fly to Miami to go wedding dress shopping for not just one, but two of my sisters! They got engaged four months apart so it was the perfect opportunity for us to put the two together and have the whole family join in! So myself, my other sister, (I am one of four), my Mom and my Dad all tagged along. Adelaide of course came for the ride too and we had an absolute ball. I’m not sure if we had more fun dressing Adi up, pairing our outfits, watching Adi be blown away by the isles of Target or watching her Aunties try on some of the most beautiful dresses.

I’m so grateful to have had her be a part of that experience. Especially after all the world is going through now. It is crazy to think an experience like this, is now something that is somewhat part of the past due to COVID. At least for the foreseeable future. We have many friends who have gotten engaged during the pandemic and the idea of going wedding dress shopping for them just isn’t possible. It is really an out of sorts feeling to think we managed to have this experience right before it all hit, and really how lucky we were to have had it. We are so grateful to have been able to have that time, that experience and the holiday with our entire family.
